No UFC fans here?
UFC 110 will have what's probably the best fighting card since UFC 100.
"Minotauro" Nogueira will face Cain Velasquez and the winner will most likely fight Brock Lesnar for the Heavyweight belt. Wanderley Silva will return and face Michael Bisping and Mirko Cro Cop (my fav fighter) will face Ben Rothwell. Looking forward to see these fights.

It does look like a really good card, the last one was a bore. Is this the one on Spike TV?

Lesnars fighting Shane Carwin when he comes back.

True, UFC 109 wasn't interesting at all. Looks like it's only on PPV unfortunatelly.

Yeah I also think Carwin will beat Mir, but would be fun to see Mir take on Brock again. I was watching the press conference today and Dana White said that the winner of Nogueira x Velasquez would only fight Lesnar is the winner of Mir x Carwin (UFC 111) can't fight on UFC 115, but will be in the mix. In anyway, the heavyweight division is pretty interesting right now.

The only problem with the heavyweight is I don't think anyone can challenge Brock Lesnar. Even in his only loss to Mir he completely dominated the fight.

Would be fun to see Mir vs Lesnar 3 because Mir has such a big mouth, he's always talking about how much better he's got since the last fight, etc, but I think Mir isn't the one to beat him. Nogueira's lost to Mir was a fluke, I've seen him beat much better guys, so I think Nogueira and Carwin right now can take on Lesnar. The thing with Lesnar is that he's huge, walks around with over 300 pounds, but he isn't a good boxer, he's just a good wrestler. When he fights a guy that won't go desperate whenever he throws him to the ground, he'll lose. And he's lucky Fedor isn't on UFC.
All this before his injury, of course. Who knows how he'll comeback. He says he's ok but it was a pretty damn serious injury. 4 months until we find out.

Mir has packed on about 20 pounds of muscle since losing to Brock and is starting to take it seriously and work hard, and he is much better. As well he should, he talked all that shit and Brock turned his face into hamburger. I still don't think Mir can match up with him though. I don't think anyone can, he's both bigger and faster than everyone...he has to cut 10 pounds just to make heavyweight. Factor in how quick he is. He moves around the cage like a light heavyweight. Brocks just to strong, once he gets ya down your fucked, thats what he did to Mir...just pinned him down and worked him over. If Brock had a standup game it just wouldn't be right. Fedor has his chance to be in the UFC, but he wouldn't sign. Plus you have to consider its been proven that just cause you were good in Pride doesn't mean you'll be good in UFC. Just look at Cro Cop...all the hype coming in and he ain't shit. He's not the only one either.

Yep, that's true. Brock is way fast for his size. But the thing with Fedor is that he fought every kind of fighter and did good against them, he's also very fast, perfect ground game, great striker and he's too smart. I'm a big fan lol too bad he didn't take UFC's money, but he'll sign eventually, he'll get bored on Strikeforce.
As for Cro Cop, yeah, I don't know what happened to him, some people say it's mental, that he even thought about killing himself. Hope that's not true. We'll see how that goes on saturday. Did you see the press conference? It was damn funny, all the talking between Silva and Bisping.

Excellent night of fights tonight. Figured Cain would win, just not that easily. Silva and Bisbing was the fight of the night.

As for Fedor I'm not sold. Too many guys have come over to UFC and not been the same. I won't be sold on him till he proves it in the UFC.

Yes, and I think he'll do that as soon as he cleans up Strikeforce. He has like 2 fights left in his contract and the next one is in april
