From a Yankees perspective, I hope it pours, but from an "I live in New York and the weekend is coming up" perspective, I want it to GTFO.

Shower called for in the early evening, 40%....tomorrow, 60% chance of rain....

I hope the whole series gets rained out.

Not going over to Shea I take it? Have you got tickets for when the Mets come to the Bronx....chin up Bill lotta baseball left to play. If they dont show better than this, then we need to break up the team to some degree.

Why do you think a rain out would help the Yanks?

We are set up with Moose, Wang and Pettitte for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday vs. Boston. A rainout would totally screw those plans because a DH with the Mets would be played most likely on Sunday when there is no day game scheduled.

At hasn't rained all morning in NYC so I believe the game will be played tonight.

Cool, the Radar Map (first post in thread) is self-updating. End of time frame moved forward 15 minutes, changed to 12:45 PM @ about 12:50.

The Yankees need a break. Have you ever seen Bull Durham? A rain out can do wonders for a ball club.

I haven't seen the movie in a long time so I don't remember. But that rainout earlier this week did nothing to prevent the Yankees from losing two out of three in Chicago.

Frankly, I'd like to see the entire rest of the '07 season get rained out! Then George fires Cashman, we hire a REAL GM, he sets the roster the way I want it to be set, and we capture the '08 Division, no questions asked.

NO way any NY Yankee GM should be allowed to do what Cashman did to us this offseason! I repeatedly told you ppl in December that Cashman had handed the '07 pennant to the dreaded Sawx, and I STILL believe he did.

The pennant is stretching it a bit. Cashman may have given the Sawx a free pass to win the division but they aren't going to stroll through to the pennant that easily. The Tigers, the Indians and the Angels will all be heard from before this season is over. And hopefully the Yankees will get on track and make some noise as well. I don't feel like the Sawx are going to run away with the division title but I do think that in the end they will win it because of the lead that they have built.

So you perfer a couple of double headers..

Remember, they broke into the stadium and turned all of the sprinklers on.

steve, do you ever post anything that doesn't bash cashman? seriously, thats all you talk about. you find a way to turn every damn thread into something that involves cashman.

you claim to be the "net's greatest poster" and act like you're so intelligent, yet every post says the same thing. You're all talk and no substance.

EDIT: not to mention it's incredibly annoying that I can't go through a thread about WEATHER without seeing you trolling on about Cashman.

Thank you for bringing this up! This thread has a LOT to do with Cashman! Because I even blame the damn WEATHER on him. He represents everything that's wrong with the world!
